The infrastructure will use Nvidia HGX B300 systems, featuring about 2,000 Nvidia Blackwell 300 chips and Spectrum-X Ethernet networking gear, to provide inference for open-source AI models. Together AI's chief officer Kai Mak stated that the initial U.S.-located cluster is expected to be sold out two to three months ahead of service. The deal taps into surging demand for inference capacity as businesses look for lower-cost alternatives to proprietary models from companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Meta. Together AI, which allows clients to run workloads on models such as DeepSeek, MiniMax, and Kimi, was last valued at $8.3 billion in July.
